Satiate suggests meal combinations based on ingredients you tell it you have. This policy explains exactly what the app does with that information.
The short version: Satiate has no accounts and no logins. It never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and it does not track you across apps or websites. The ingredients you enter are sent to an AI service to generate recipes, and that is the only information that leaves your device.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, health or fitness data, financial or payment details, or your device's advertising identifier. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software.
When you first open Satiate, the app generates a random identifier (a UUID) and stores it on your device. It is not your device ID, your advertising ID, or anything issued by Google or your phone's manufacturer, and it cannot be used to identify you personally or to recognise you in any other app.
It exists so that free usage limits can be applied per installation and so that a subscription can be restored to the right installation. Deleting the app deletes the identifier; reinstalling generates a new, unrelated one.
When you tap to generate combos, the app sends your ingredient list, the meal type, and your installation identifier to our server, which runs on Cloudflare Workers. That server holds our AI provider credentials and forwards the request to OpenAI, which generates the recipe suggestions and returns them.
Our server does not keep your ingredients. The only thing it stores is a count of how many requests each installation identifier has made on the current day, used to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. That counter expires automatically within 48 hours.
OpenAI processes ingredient text under its own API terms. Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information into the ingredients field — it is designed for food items, and anything you type there is sent for processing.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
All communication between the app and our server, and between our server and OpenAI, is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Our AI provider credentials are held on the server and are never included in the app itself.
Because Satiate holds no account, most of your data lives on your device and is entirely under your control. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes your saved recipes, your ingredient list, and your installation identifier. You can also clear your ingredient list at any time from within the app.

Satiate is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Material changes affecting how your information is handled will also be noted in the app.
